1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing PolyBet (“Platform”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes may be highlighted in-product or via notice on the site.

2. Nature of the Service

PolyBet provides an interface to explore event-based prediction markets, view probabilities, and (where available) trade outcome shares. Market data may be sourced from third-party venues or aggregated feeds.

Nothing on the Platform is investment, legal, tax, or financial advice. Probabilities displayed are market-implied prices, not guarantees of outcomes.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally permitted to use prediction-market interfaces under applicable law.

You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of the Platform is lawful where you reside. We may restrict or deny access in certain jurisdictions.

• You are not a resident of a prohibited jurisdiction designated by us or by applicable sanctions regimes.
• You will not use VPNs or other means to circumvent geo-restrictions.
• You will provide accurate information when creating an account.

4. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for safeguarding credentials, wallet keys, and session tokens associated with your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized access.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear compromised, abusive, or in violation of these Terms.

5. Markets, Pricing & Settlement

Displayed prices reflect available order-book or mid-market information and may change rapidly. Slippage, latency, and partial fills can occur.

Resolution rules for each market are described on the event page. Outcomes are determined by the stated resolution source. Disputes follow the market’s published rules.

Where paper trading or demo balances are offered, they have no cash value and may be reset at any time.

6. Fees

The Platform or underlying venues may charge trading fees, withdrawal fees, or spreads. Fee schedules, if any, will be disclosed in-product or in account settings.

Network (gas) fees on blockchain settlements are paid by you and are outside our control.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to misuse the Platform. Prohibited activities include, without limitation:

• Market manipulation, wash trading, spoofing, or coordinating to distort prices.
• Using bots or scrapers in a way that degrades service availability without permission.
• Attempting to exploit bugs, bypass rate limits, or access non-public systems.
• Money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, or other unlawful activity.
• Impersonation, harassment, or posting illegal or infringing content.

8. Risk Disclosure

Trading event outcomes involves a high risk of loss. You can lose some or all of funds committed to positions. Past performance of markets is not indicative of future results.

Oracle failures, delayed resolution, forks, extreme volatility, and third-party outages may affect your ability to trade or settle.

9. Intellectual Property

The PolyBet name, logos, UI, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute Platform software except as allowed by law.

Market titles and third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

10. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation, or that market data is complete or timely.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and our affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.

Our aggregate liability arising out of these Terms or the Platform will not exceed the greater of (a) fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD $100).

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PolyBet and its operators from claims arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access immediately for breach, legal risk, or operational reasons. Provisions that by nature should survive will survive termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the Platform operator’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that venue have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections apply.
